"Mandana is an elite litigator and a trusted advisor to retail employers who face an evolving workplace in 2021 and beyond," said Laura Maechtlen, chair of Seyfarth's Labor & Employment Department. "Her additional background counseling companies in the technology, financial, and health industries exemplifies her dynamic practice."

Massoumi's practice also includes advice and counsel, training, investigations, as well as audits, including those related to implementation of artificial intelligence in the workforce. Massoumi regularly partners with her clients, in providing strategic counsel on all aspects of workplace law, whistleblower and retaliation claims, misappropriation of trade secrets and intellectual property ownership rights, wage and hour claims, reductions in force, and privacy claims arising under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), among others. She also assists in design and implementation of workplace policies including diversity and inclusion programs and policies.

"Our Los Angeles team is delighted to welcome Mandana. She has established herself as a premier talent in California and a respected thought leader in the industry," said Nicholas Waddles, managing partner of the firm's Los Angeles office.
