WASHINGTON, D.C.—It's official—the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) is investing in legal education opportunities for persons from traditionally under-represented racial and ethnic groups, low-income and disadvantaged communities in the form of a major financial gift to the Council on Legal Education Opportunity, Inc. (CLEO).

Officials from CLEO and LSAC signed Memorandum of Understanding at a May 10 ceremony in Washington, D.C. Womble Carlyle D.C. Office Managing Partner Pam Rothenberg represented Womble Carlyle at the ceremony. Rothenberg is a long-time CLEO Board member.

Founded in 1968, CLEO has produced more than 10,000 alumni who have excelled in every area of the legal profession and includes judges, corporate attorneys, law school deans and professors, practitioners, politicians and more.
