On March 12, the Paraguayan House of Representatives rejected
the internet traffic data retention bill (source
document in Spanish) known as Pyrawebs. The Pyrawebs bill would have required
internet service providers to store internet traffic data for one
year in databases accessible to authorities for criminal
investigation purposes. The Paraguayan Senate has 120 days to
