We acted for Moore Barlow LLP on the sale of its commercial and private wealth service lines to Knights Group Holdings plc, in a deal with a total cash consideration of up to GBP27M, and on the sale of its personal injury, clinical negligence and Court of Protection business to Fletchers Solicitors.
Moore Barlow is one of the South East's largest regional law firms, with roots dating back more than 220 years and formed in its current guise through the 2020 merger of Moore Blatch and Barlow Robbins. Its business achieved GBP45M revenue in 2025/26, and around 160 lawyers will transfer to Knights and approximately 100 partners and staff will transfer to Fletchers Solicitors as part of the transaction. Fletchers Solicitors will also acquire Moore Barlow's interest in Aspire Law, its joint venture with spinal cord injury charity Aspire.
Knights is a fast-growing legal and professional services business ranked within the UK's top 50 largest law firms by revenue, and the acquisition builds further scale for the Group across the South East and South Central regions, adding closely aligned expertise in real estate, private wealth and landed estates alongside a strong schools and charities team.
