A&O Shearman has advised Providence Equity Partners L.L.C. (“Providence”), a specialist private equity firm focused on media, communications and education, on the financing for its agreement to acquire Hometrack, a leading provider of residential real estate digital valuation and property risk data and analytics in the UK and Netherlands.

Hometrack’s data informs critical decision making for participants within the residential real estate asset class including financial services, public and private property investors and insurers.

Working alongside Hometrack's management team, Providence will support continued investment in innovation, product development and customer service as the business builds on its market-leading position.

A&O Shearman also recently advised Providence on the financing for its significant investment in SCG, a leading UK provider of communications, connectivity, and IT services for small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs).
