Five J A Kemp trainees have achieved the significant milestone of qualifying as European Patent Attorneys after successfully passing all their EQE examinations.
United Kingdom
March was a particularly busy month for EQE exams, involving
trainees from several year groups across all three patent teams.
The final set of results from those exams was released this
month.
We are delighted to report that all twenty J A Kemp candidates
passed one or more of the various exams, including some sitting the
final instances of the “old style” papers “A to
D” and others sitting one or more of the EQE’s new
“modular style” papers “F, M1 and M2”.
Five J A Kemp trainees have also now reached the major milestone
of passing all their EQEs and therefore qualifying as European
Patent Attorneys.
This includes three members of the biotechnology and life
sciences practice; Lois
Carhart, who is based in the Cambridge office, Sarah Gee of
the London office and Holly Smith,
who is based in the Oxford office.
Tatiana
Foggitt and Iain
McLauchlan work on patent matters across the chemistry and
pharmaceuticals sector. Tatiana and Iain are based in the London
office.
