Shareholder Bob Lightfoot was a featured speaker during a breakout session at the Arizona ALFA Spring Conference and Trade Show, held May 5-7 at the We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort in Fort McDowell.
During his afternoon breakout session "Working Through Difficult Resident Discharge Situations," Lightfoot discussed techniques for identifying and dealing with difficult resident discharge situations, as well as how to draft discharge letters that will withstand scrutiny.
Lightfoot is a shareholder and chair of Reinhart's Health Care Practice and its Long Term Care, Assisted Living and Senior Independent Housing Services Group. He has extensive experience representing the owners and operators of nursing homes and assisted living facilities on operational, regulatory and employment matters, as well as buying, selling and licensing these entities, survey and certification, audits, risk management and HIPAA compliance.
