Chad brings decades of experience handling high-stakes entertainment disputes, litigation in other industries such as fitness, apparel, toys, and gaming, and entertainment transactional matters for select industry clients. He joins a storied team of attorneys representing marquee clients in Hollywood and beyond.
Chad has unparalleled experience in industry disputes regarding profit participation, audits, vertical integration, and distribution (including streaming), litigation involving copyright, trademark and trade secrets, fraud, rights of privacy, and defamation, and transactions for entertainment industry clients.
His significant work includes representing the executive producer of "Bones" in a profit participation arbitration against the Fox television studio and network, and representing the creator, writer, and executive producer of the worldwide hit television series "The Walking Dead," and talent agency CAA, in a profit participation lawsuit against AMC in New York. He has successfully resolved other disputes for high-profile clients, such as New Republic Pictures, Mattel, and various showrunners, producers, and other talent. Many of his matters are confidentially settled before they enter the public domain.
