Looking back on Christmas of 2025, CSB Group is proud to share the story behind its client gifts, a collaboration with talented Maltese charcoal artist Alan Azzopardi that celebrated both local art and a deeply inspiring cause.
Continuing its tradition of sharing limited-edition artwork during the holidays, CSB Group commissioned Azzopardi to create a custom charcoal drawing offering a stunning perspective of the Maltese Islands. From this original work, a highly exclusive run of just 75 prints was produced and gifted to CSB Group's clientele.

The original artwork was officially presented by Alan Azzopardi to Michael J. Zammit, Group CEO of CSB Group.
Artistry Born from Resilience
Beyond the beauty of the charcoal landscapes, the collaboration was chosen to shine a spotlight on Alan's deeply moving personal journey. After undergoing two cornea transplants and eventually losing the vision in his right eye, Alan refused to let go of his passion for art. Instead, he adapted, honed his craft, and developed the remarkable, lifelike realism that defines his drawings today. His story of resilience, patience, and passion stands at the very heart of this initiative.
Advocating for a Life-Changing Cause
The initiative was supported by CSB Group and its associated brands, including Malta Sotheby's International Realty, Regus, and UNICO Yachting. Beyond gifting a beautiful piece of art, the project aimed to carry a profound message into the new year.
Alan's ability to continue creating was made possible through the generosity of organ donors. At CSB Group, we've always believed in the strength of community and the importance of organ donation. Alan's ability to continue creating was made possible through the generosity of donors, and we hope this artwork gently reminds us of how life changing that act can be.
