Last Friday, CSB Group brought its staff together for an unforgettable team-building experience across the breathtaking towns of southeastern Sicily. The day combined culture, gastronomy, and shared experiences, offering colleagues the opportunity to strengthen connections while enjoying the rich heritage and scenic charm of the region.
The journey began in the early hours of the morning as the team gathered at the Marsa Terminal before departing to Pozzallo. Upon arrival in Sicily, the group headed to the historic hilltop town of Ibla, where colleagues had the opportunity to explore its picturesque streets, baroque architecture, and charming atmosphere while enjoying the beauty and culture of one of Sicily's most iconic destinations.
The next stop of the day was Locanda Gulfi, where the team enjoyed a delightful wine tasting experience set amongst the stunning Sicilian countryside. They sampled a selection of local wines while learning more about the region's renowned winemaking traditions. The relaxed and elegant setting provided the perfect opportunity for colleagues to unwind, socialise, and appreciate Sicily's authentic flavours together.
Following the wine tasting experience, the group travelled to the vibrant town of Modica for lunch at a traditional osteria. Colleagues enjoyed authentic Sicilian cuisine and local delicacies in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, sharing laughter and conversation over a leisurely meal. The experience continued with a guided walking tour through the charming streets of Modica, where the team discovered the town's fascinating history, stunning baroque landmarks, and their famous chocolate.
The day concluded with a visit to the enchanting town of Scicli, another jewel of Sicily's baroque heritage. The team had time to explore the town's elegant streets and picturesque surroundings before heading back to Pozzallo for the return journey to Malta. Throughout the day, colleagues embraced the opportunity to connect outside the workplace, creating memorable experiences while strengthening teamwork and camaraderie.
