Leading global law firm Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer announced today that project finance lawyer Ben Thompson has joined the firm in Singapore as a partner.

Leading global law firm Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer announced
today that project finance lawyer Ben Thompson has joined the firm
in Singapore as a partner.
Based in Asia for over two decades, Ben has deep experience in
financing energy and infrastructure projects across Asia. He will
work with the firm's leading energy, finance and projects teams
to further enhance their services to clients.
"Ben adds formidable project finance expertise to our Asia
platform," said Asia Head of Corporate Andrew Blacoe. "His insight into regional
markets, client needs and emerging opportunities will materially
strengthen our offering and position us for continued
growth."

Ben's hire is the latest expansion of the firm's energy
and projects teams in Singapore, following the hire of Head of
Energy Anthony Patten, projects and finance partner Ee Lynn Tan in 2024, and Head of Projects Adrian Wong in 2022.
