Mayer Brown advised on Project Finance International's 2025 "Americas Infrastructure Deal of the Year," the Georgia SR 400 Express Lanes Project.

The firm served as sponsors' counsel to SR 400 Peach Partners, LLP – a consortium comprising Meridiam, Acciona, and ACS, – on the financial close of a public-private partnership (P3) to design, construct, operate, maintain, and toll the new SR 400 Express Lanes project north of Atlanta. The P3 was established between the Georgia Department of Transportation and the Georgia State Road, Tollway Authority, and SR 400 Peach Partners, LLP. The firm's role spanned from procurement through financial close, including counselling on procurement matters, negotiating the P3 agreement, guiding commercial close of the P3 agreement and ancillary documents, and leading the landmark financing. With a total investment of approximately $11 billion, the project features a nearly $3.9 billion USDOT TIFIA loan (the largest to date) and a $3.4 billion private activity bonds issuance, the largest for any US P3.
