MILWAUKEE– Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. (Reinhart) is pleased to announce the election of Shareholder Al Schlinsog as vice president of the Milwaukee Bar Association (MBA). He will assume the role of President in 2027.
In this leadership role, Schlinsog will serve on the MBA’s Executive Committee and help guide its mission of promoting professional excellence, enhancing access to justice, fostering collegiality among the bench and bar and supporting the legal community in Milwaukee County. The MBA, founded in 1858, is one of the country’s oldest local bar associations and is committed to advancing the legal profession and public service in southeastern Wisconsin.
“I am honored to accept this role and look forward to working alongside this talented, dedicated board to further the MBA’s goals,” said Schlinsog. “My aim is to increase collaboration within our legal community, support professional development of members, and advance meaningful initiatives to improve access to justice and uphold the values of our profession.”
Schlinsog is a shareholder and co-chair of Reinhart’s Product Liability, Safety and Recalls Group and past chair of the firm’s Litigation Practice. He handles complex commercial litigation and intellectual property cases, but his practice focuses primarily on the defense of complex product liability claims involving regulated products, including those of the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Over the course of his career, Schlinsog has gained considerable experience in significant class actions, product liability and mass tort proceedings. As national counsel for several clients, Schlinsog regularly appears in state and federal courts across the country. When clients hire him to handle their cases, their problems and goals become his own, and his three decades of legal experience have prepared him to defend his clients’ reputations and their products successfully. He is an aggressive litigator who develops creative solutions to complex problems.
