Wilmington, Del. (October 14, 2025) - Lewis Brisbois is pleased to welcome Keith Walter to its Wilmington office as a partner in the firm's Intellectual Property & Technology and Directors & Officers Litigation Practices. An experienced litigator, former general counsel, and intellectual property strategist, Mr. Walter brings more than 25 years of courtroom and counseling experience to the firm, with a track record of helping clients succeed both in disputes and in business.
Mr. Walter has represented clients in complex intellectual property and commercial disputes across federal and state courts nationwide, as well as before specialized venues including the International Trade Commission and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. He also has experience serving as Delaware counsel, assisting national and international firms in navigating the state's courts. At the same time, he is a trusted business counselor with deep experience in intellectual property strategy, advertising and marketing compliance, and corporate governance. During his six-year tenure as general counsel of a national direct-to-consumer health and wellness e-commerce company, he managed all legal functions, advised on high-stakes IP and advertising matters, and developed particular expertise in the dietary supplement and consumer products industries.
In describing his decision to join Lewis Brisbois, Mr. Walter said:
"Lewis Brisbois offers the rare combination of a national Am Law 100 platform and deep Delaware roots. That combination is incredibly attractive to me as I continue to grow my practice. Having served as both a litigator and a general counsel, I was drawn to the firm's ability to support clients not only in the courtroom but also in their day-to-day business challenges. I'm excited to collaborate with my colleagues here to deliver strategic and practical solutions to clients across industries, including dietary supplements, e-commerce, and technology."
Wilmington Managing Partner Francis Pileggi similarly expressed excitement about Mr. Walter's arrival, describing:
Keith's experience as a litigator, advisor, and in-house counsel will allow him to make significant contributions to the matters we handle. His unique background and perspectives will enhance our ability to deliver the highest level of service to our clients in Delaware and beyond.
