Arnold & Porter provided regulatory advice to Intel in closing its $8.75 billion divestiture of Altera Corporation, a supplier of FPGA (field programmable gate array) semiconductors, to Silver Lake Partners, a global technology investment firm, on September 12.

Arnold & Porter's integrated global team provided guidance on all regulatory aspects of the transaction, helping secure approvals from multiple regulatory authorities worldwide.
