Liskow is proud to announce that Jana Grauberger has been elected Vice President of The Foundation for Natural Resources and Energy Law (FNREL). She will assume the role of President next year, with her term starting at the Annual Institute in Seattle this coming July. Alongside Jana, Jackie Hickman will serve as a Trustee on the board. FNREL is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing education and understanding in the fields of natural resources and energy law. FNREL provides comprehensive resources and programs to support legal professionals, industry leaders, and policymakers navigating the complexities of these critical sectors.
Jana is an active member of FNREL amongst other energy resources including the Institute for Energy Law (IEL), the Association of International Energy Negotiators (AIEN), and the Women's Energy Network (WEN). Jana is a past Program Chair of the Foundation's 69th Annual Institute and currently co-chairs the recurring Offshore Leasing and Development Course. She has served on the Foundation's Board of Directors and now chairs the IEL Program Committee, where she is also a member of the executive committee. Her leadership extends to the Women's Energy Network (WEN), where she served as president of both the global Board of Directors and the Houston chapter. Beyond her organizational roles, Jana regularly shares her expertise through blog posts and presentations on energy law news and developments.
As an energy lawyer with 25 years of experiencing, Jana advises clients on complex regulatory, transactional, and litigation matters related to federal offshore and state oil and gas development, as well as emerging offshore wind projects. Her practice includes negotiating major contracts such as purchase and sale agreements, joint operating agreements, and transportation and gathering contracts, while helping clients navigate the intricate regulatory landscape governed by BOEM, BSEE, and ONRR.
