Mayer Brown advised Conagra Brands, Inc., a leading North American food company whose portfolio includes iconic brands such as Birds Eye, Duncan Hines, and Healthy Choice, on the sale of its Chef Boyardee brand to Brynwood Partners IX L.P., through its portfolio company, Hometown Food Company for $600 million.

The deal includes an 820,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Milton, Pennsylvania, along with all assets and operations dedicated to Chef Boyardee shelf-stable products. The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2025, subject to customary regulatory approvals in the United States.
