Recognising the startling statistics that 1 in 3 women, 1 in 6 men, and 1 in 5 children in Guernsey will experience domestic abuse in their lifetimes. And addressing the fact that 75% of domestic abuse victims are harassed at work, and 90% report their abuse has impacted their work performance, Walkers is dedicated to creating a safer and more supportive workplace.
About Safer Spaces
Safer spaces is a pioneering partnership program where businesses like ours play a vital role in providing a safe haven for employees affected by domestic abuse. By engaging with this program, we are training volunteer 'Safer space Champions' within our organisation to offer guidance and support to colleagues impacted by domestic abuse.
Our role in the Safer Spaces initiative
