On January 23rd, Madrid hosted a seminar titled "Intellectual Property as a Driver of Business Growth for Spanish SMEs in the European Union and Africa". Organized by the EUIPO - European Union Intellectual Property Office in collaboration with the Single Window for Internationalization (VUI) and the Cámara de Comercio e Industria de Madrid, the seminar aimed to explore crucial strategies and best practices in managing IP on a European and African scale. Additionally, it sought to highlight the challenges and opportunities for companies and SMEs in safeguarding their creations, inventions, and designs during the internationalization process.

Inês Monteiro Alves attended the event and addressed the topic "La propiedad intelectual en el contexto africano: oportunidades para las empresas españolas".
