This is to inform you that on June 14, 2018, the ruling whereon by which articles 73 and 129 of the General Corporations Law were amended, was published in the Federal Official Gazette.
The main purpose of such amendments is to publicly disclose the transfers of equity interest in Limited Liability Companies, and shares in Limited Liability Stock Corporations.
The above shall be made through the publication of the equity interest or shares transfers relevant notice, in the electronic system of the Ministry of Economy, being effective as of the following day to publication date of such notice and without affecting any other publications that shall be made pursuant other provisions or special laws, as provided by article 50 bis of the Commercial Code.
Likewise, regarding the Limited Liability Stock Corporations, it is additionally provided, that the Ministry of Economy ensures the confidentiality of the names, domiciles and nationalities of the shareholders contained in the transfer notice aforementioned, unless if such information is required by a judicial or administrative authority when is needed for the exercise of their powers pursuant the applicable legislation.
Such amendment shall be in effect within the six months following to its publication in the Federal Official Gazette, that is January 15, 2019.
