According to Expat Insider, a survey carried out by InterNations, Malta is the third best place to live worldwide, following Ecuador and Mexico. 14,400 expatriates from all round the world participated in this annual survey and answered questions pertaining to their current country of residency. The questions related to aspects of daily life such as quality of life, ease of settling it, the quality of their working life, family life, personal finance and cost of living.

Malta also resulted to be one of the most popular locations for British expatriates in another study that was conducted by Ampilot, based on the total number of expatriates living in that country, the percentage of British expatriates per thousand people in the country, friendliness towards foreigners and proficiency in English.

It is good to mention that Malta is deemed to be a highly attractive location of choice for foreigners looking to work abroad or relocate their business. The island's pleasant climate, incredibly rich culture and history, relatively cheap costs of living as well as other factors such as a skilled workforce and high quality education and healthcare have been successful in attracting and retaining foreign investment and industries such as iGaming. Malta is also considered to be an ideal location where young people from different locations can develop their innovative business ideas and start off their business.
