Devry Smith Frank LLP ('DSF') is pleased to announce the association of our Barrie family law group with John Menear, Barrister & Solicitor and 'The Divorce Centre'.

John has been a prominent family law practitioner in Orillia for many years. Since its inception in 2005, The Divorce Centre has helped countless number of clients experiencing the challenges of divorce and separation requiring immediate legal advice. It has become one of the largest providers of divorce solutions in Central Ontario, serving a market which extends north from Barrie to Huntsville and west from Midland to Bancroft.

Effective April 1st John will be withdrawing from the daily practice of law. DSF will continue to offer family law services to John's clients and will continue to build on The Divorce Centre's professional legacy. Our association with John Menear's practice will provide John's clients and clients of The Divorce Centre with enhanced service with a wider access to resources and expertise. Along with a complete range of family law services, DSF provides legal services in real estate, wills, estates, corporate/commercial and business law, and personal injury litigation.

THE DIVORCE CENTRE

Family lawyer Kenna Bromley joined Devry Smith Frank LLP (DSF) in 2020 as an associate in our Barrie Family Law group. As a Barrie family lawyer, Kenna has appeared at all levels of court in Ontario and although her practice is taking her to the courtroom often for conferences, summaries, motions and trials, she also uses collaborative and alternative processes to reach agreements that are mutually beneficial for all parties involved.

Mason Morningstar, regularly deals with high-conflict matters in court relating to property division, divorce, child and spousal support, custody and parenting time, and child protection issues. Mason is happy to advise and represent clients on a wide variety of matrimonial issues including divorce, custody and access, equalization of net family property, child and spousal support, drafting of and advice on marriage contracts (pre-nuptial), separation agreements, cohabitation agreements, financial statements, court applications and written argument for litigation matters.
