Failure to comply fully with POPIA by 1 July could lead to catastrophic brand damage, a loss of reputation, fines, penalties, damages claims and even imprisonment.

Prepare now for POPIA compliance by attending virtual training sessions by ENSafrica executives Era Gunning and Ridwaan Boda, on the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA), the Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA) and the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The following practical steps will be covered in our training so that you can make your organisation fully compliant as soon as possible:

  • developing a risk management framework
  • conducting a risk assessment
  • conducting a POPIA audit
  • avoiding personal liability
  • drafting consent and operator clauses
  • implementing policies and procedures
  • taking information and cybersecurity measures
  • conducting awareness and training sessions
  • rolling out a full POPIA compliance programme

The POPIA virtual training course takes the form of a two-part series (a half-day session on 9 MAR and another half-day session on 10 MAR). The cost is ZAR 4000.00 (excl VAT) per attendee. Two or more attendees qualify for a 10% discount.
