ENS' Namibia office has been honoured with the Legal Excellence in Social Responsibility Award for 2025 by the Law Society of Namibia. This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to advancing access to justice, supporting education and contributing to the wellbeing of communities across Namibia.

Over the past year, our initiatives have included:

  • Sponsorship of the UNAM Moot Court Competition and related mentoring programmes to help law students develop advocacy skills.
  • Participation in the Access to Justice Project, providing free legal services to vulnerable communities in southern Namibia.
  • Support for housing initiatives through the Buy-a-Brick Campaign, aimed at building safe homes for low-income families.
  • Career development events and internships designed to empower the next generation of legal professionals.

Hartmut Ruppel, head of ENS' Namibia office, had this to say, "We are proud to share this milestone with you, as it underscores the values that guide our work: excellence, integrity and service."

"This recognition affirms that pro bono work and social responsibility are not just add-ons to the firm, they are integral to who we are. Every initiative, big or small, contributes to building a more just and inclusive society" added, Natasha Wagiet, pro bono manager
