Lowndes attorney Rebecca Wilson represented Oviedo-based
developer Hill Gray Seven in the proposed redevelopment
of the old Ranch Mall in Winter Park. The proposed project would
feature a mix of luxury retail, restaurants and office space
spanning 24,000 square feet over two buildings, and Hill Gray Seven
intends to demolish the current structure on the property.
The city's planning and zoning board held a meeting on
Tuesday, where home owners near the development expressed concerns
over traffic and whether a parking lot best serves the
neighborhood. Bronce Stephenson, the city's planning and
community development director, promised that the city is working
with neighboring residents on traffic solutions, and city board
members voted unanimously to move the project along with several
conditions.
