BALTIMORE—Womble Bond Dickinson's Nancy Urizar participated in Baltimore's Community Law Center's Giving Tuesday video to help raise funds for the Community Law Center, Maryland's only legal services organization dedicated solely to strengthening neighborhoods and the nonprofit sector.

The video features Urizar's recent pro bono legal work with the Community Law Center. Urizar presented—in Spanish—a two-part workshop to on how to start and maintain a community association.

Community Law Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization is located in Baltimore, Maryland that provides legal services to community and nonprofit organizations that lack the financial resources to pay for private legal representation. To learn more, click here.

Nancy Urizar, Ph.D., advises clients on a variety of intellectual property matters, including in connection with the acquisition, development, licensing and sale of intellectual property in the biotechnology, biologics, pharmaceutical, life sciences and agricultural biology industries. Prior to her legal career, Urizar spent ten years conducting basic science research in the areas of molecular and cellular biology and neuroscience. She is a member of Women of Womble, and is active in the local chapter.
