Instagram announced that branded content that promotes goods such as vaping, tobacco products, and weapons will not be allowed.

Instagram announced that branded content that promotes goods such as vaping, tobacco products, and weapons will not be allowed.  In a statement, Instagram said that, "Our advertising policies have long prohibited the advertisement of these products, and we will begin enforcement on this in the coming weeks."  

Instagram also said that it plans to roll out special restrictions next year for branded content that promotes goods such as alcohol and dietary supplements.
