NFA reminded CTAs and CPOs to notify the agency if they intend to request Form PR filing relief.

As previously covered, the CFTC adopted exemptions for CTAs and CPOs from reporting on Forms CPO-PQR and CTA-PR if they operate only pools or accounts in accordance with an exemption from registration. Notifications should be submitted on the CTA Annual Questionnaire. Conversely, CTAs that will no longer rely on the exemption must notify NFA of the change in their reporting status by the same means.

NFA stated that CTAs must notify the agency prior to March 31, 2020 if they intend to take advantage of Form PR filing relief.
