With a view to facilitate trademark, patent and design prosecution in the country, the Tunisian Industrial Property Office brought in the following procedural changes with effect from 1st January 2010:

  • The publication of trademarks, patents and designs will be distributed on CDs, without hard copies. This will help prevent the delay of publication by saving the time required for printing the publication thereby reducing the timeframe for completing the registration process.
  • The payment of official fees for issuance of certificate of renewal must be effected simultaneously with the renewal fees with a view to expedite the renewal process.
