As part of Appleby Guernsey's expansion plans the leading offshore law firm has strengthened its employment offering with the appointment of senior employment lawyer, Richard Sheldon.
Richard has joined Appleby from UK law firm, Eversheds, where he gained a track record advising on major multi-jursidictional and complex employment law projects.

As a result of Appleby's year on year growth, we have recently moved into new offices in Regency Court, Glategny Esplanade, and will continue to look to make other strategic hires in the near future."
Richard practises in all areas of employment law including strategic advice, litigation and transactional support, as well as advising on matters such as executive severance, redundancies, agency workers, restrictive covenants, bonus disputes and trade union issues. Richard has particular experience working on restructuring HR projects, advising on directorship issues of listed companies, as well as advising in numerous sectors including financial services, transport, telecoms and healthcare.
He is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and is a regular trainer on a wide variety of employment issues both on public courses and in-house training to clients.
He qualified as an English Solicitor in 2003.
