Harvey Law Group (HLG) is proud to announce that it has successfully assisted an important group of Chinese engineers and technicians from China to obtain the necessary visas to attend training in Canada and to subsequently visit key locations in Latin America, enabling them to go onsite at a key multi-million dollar infrastructure project to help its construction and development.
HLG was mandated by an international US-based company, and one of its Latin American subsidiaries, to coordinate and make the necessary submissions for the issuing of temporary resident visas for groups of engineers from a well-established Chinese state owned enterprise to provide qualified man-power to assist with this essential infrastructure project.
This mandate was a direct result of recognizing the broad complexity and span of the project involving many international actors and jurisdictions (China, Taiwan, Canada, the USA and several Latin American countries), and the considerable difficulties involved in obtaining the necessary authorizations and subsequent visas for the qualified Chinese manpower.
Following past problematic trials, the client opted to address the difficulties in obtaining visas for foreign professionals, by selecting the professional services and expertise of HLG, an international mobility-specialized law firm, to ensure the full mobility of Chinese engineers and technicians' for professional purposes.
The wide scope of the project also included full co-ordination with a worldwide renowned Canadian engineering firm to overview all the safety and quality assurance protocols for this project.
Hence, HLG is honored to be involved in the project and is also extremely proud to show once again its capacity to deal efficiently with internationally renowned companies and various governments' officials. Jean-François Harvey, Founder & Managing Partner at Harvey Law Group stated: "This mandate is a great example of our core values which include "flexibility and imagination in problem solving".
