As part of FinanceMalta's role in promoting the jurisdiction and attracting more financial service operators to Malta, FinanceMalta will be taking the lead promotional arm in several highly esteemed and significant events in London this autumn. From 'Cross Border Planning - Europe' to 'The 5th UK Financial Services Industry Beyond BREXIT Summit' FinanceMalta has pursued to capture all major financial services sectors and global financial discourse. 

The first London event taking place on the 17th and 18th September is 'Cross Border Planning for the Private Client - Europe' which focuses on the full spectrum of the intermediary market to HNWIs and families. Bringing together all aspects of issues affecting private clients the event will focus on the core four themes relevant to globally mobile private clients. Dr Anthony Cremona will be speaking at the event representing FinanceMalta.  

FinanceMalta will also be sponsoring 'EU Securitisation Regulation: Implementing the New STS Regime' on the 18th September. This event is perfect in joining industry leaders in capital markets to discuss challenges and benefits of STS transactions. Regulatory change will be tackled along with updated policy developments and assessing the potential impacts of STS on the ABS market. Dr Nicholas Curmi will be speaking on a panel representing FinanceMalta. 

The 'UCITS & AIFMD London' two-day event will be taking place on the 24th and 25th September at St James Court Hotel in London. Dr James Farrugia will be joining the discussion as a panel speaker along with several esteemed speakers as a representative of FinanceMalta. The event will be navigating the evolving European fund distribution landscape with successful regulatory, operational and investment strategies. The event will provide a perfect insight into how senior asset managers are planning to survive and thrive in the countdown to Brexit.

FinanceMalta is also sponsoring the 'UK Financial Services Beyond BREXIT Summit', the 5th in this well-established series, which is being held on the 10th October in central London. The objective of this conference, which is being held shortly before the UK is due to leave the EU on 31st October, either with or without a deal, is to look beyond BREXIT and examine the opportunities that lie ahead for the City and the wider FS industry. Speaking on the panel along with other high-profile speakers is FinanceMalta governor Dr Wayne Pisani.
