The Minnesota Justice Foundation (MJF) will recognize the Ireland Justice Fellowships team, including Taft's Monica Gould, with its Collaboration Award at their Awards Celebration on Sept. 22, 2026.

Gould collaborated with others to create the University of St. Thomas School of Law's Ireland Justice Fellowships, a program designed to help bridge the justice gap by placing recent law graduates with civil legal-aid organizations. Fellows provide direct representation to people who otherwise may not be able to afford counsel in matters involving housing, family law, public benefits, and other essential civil legal needs.

The Minnesota Justice Foundation will present the awards during its Awards Celebration, beginning at 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 22 at the Campus Club in Minneapolis. The Collaboration Award recognizes collective efforts that advance access to justice.

MJF's mission is to create opportunities for law students to engage in public interest and pro bono legal service, and increase the capacity of legal organizations that serve the public interest. Learn more here.
