HSA Advocates secured a major interim relief before the Hon'ble Supreme Court for its client, UPPCL. The Court was pleased to stay the Ld. APTEL's judgment which was in favour of the Thermal Power Generator.
By virtue of today's order, the Hon'ble Supreme Court stayed the recovery of approximately Rs. 1,338.65 crores to Rs. 2,078.90 crorres without any interim payment to the Generator. The payment of huge sums of money would have led to substantial increase in tariff.
