McDonald is co-chair of Taft’s Sports Law group and chair of its Cincinnati Business practice. He serves as principal counsel to sports franchises, entertainment companies, private equity and venture capital funds, growth companies, and research institutions. A committed civic leader, he is chairman of the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center and immediate past chair of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and ACG Cincinnati. He also serves on the boards of Interlex Group, the FC Cincinnati Foundation, InnovateOhio, the Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce, and Main Street Ventures.
