Washington, D.C. – June 22, 2026 – Winston Taylor announced today the addition of Darshak S. Dholakia as chair of the firm’s International Trade practice and partner in the Investigations & White Collar Defense practice in Washington, D.C.

Darshak counsels clients on developing and implementing practical strategies to identify and resolve risks across the full range of national security and international trade laws, including under economic sanctions, export controls, foreign investment reviews, tariffs/import controls, anti-money laundering laws, and anti-bribery laws. He brings extensive background across the financial services, artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies, and manufacturing sectors—all of which are at the center of significant national security and international trade developments.

“Winston Taylor has built a premier transatlantic law firm with deep experience advising on the full spectrum of international trade laws,” said Darshak. “I look forward to working alongside my colleagues across the firm to help our clients navigate the accelerating intersection of national security, technology, and international trade so they can grow their global business with confidence.”

With governments expanding oversight of technology, data, supply chains, and cross‑border commercial activity, Darshak brings deep experience helping clients anticipate regulatory expectations, manage emerging risks, and keep critical business initiatives moving. His background advising on sensitive national security matters positions him as a trusted advisor for organizations operating at the intersection of innovation, geopolitics, and national security.

“The evolving global regulatory environment is changing how our clients prepare and respond to risks and compliance requirements, and how they do business,” said Litigation Department Co-Chair Linda Coberly. “Darshak’s work advising multinational organizations on trade policies that impact their global operations is critical as clients navigate increasing cross-border complexity.”

“Darshak strengthens our ability to deliver proactive, strategic, end-to-end support,” said Litigation Department Co-Chair Brett Johnson. “His global perspective helps clients manage risk, meet compliance obligations, and operate with confidence across jurisdictions.”

“As a critical hub for national security and international trade matters, D.C. is central to our clients’ most complex regulatory challenges,” said Washington, D.C. Office Managing Partner Matt Graves. “Darshak’s experience advising on risk management and compliance will create timely and strategic value for clients in some of the core sectors Winston Taylor serves, including technology and financial services.”
