Partners Howard Suskin and Andrew Vail were each honored at the 2nd Annual Chicago Bar Association Achievement & Recognition (CBAY) Awards.
Howard received the 2026 Lawyer of the Year Award, which is presented to an attorney whose outstanding legal accomplishments, professional integrity, and meaningful contributions to the Chicago legal community exemplify the highest standards of the legal profession. Howard has served as the CBA's General Counsel since 2013 and previously served as a member of its Board of Managers.
Andrew received the Outstanding CBA Officers Award, presented to Officers who served with distinction during the 2025–2026 bar year. He currently serves as Secretary of the CBA and has been elected to a second term for the 2026–2027 bar year. He previously chaired its Strategic Planning Committee, which authored a new strategic plan for the organization, and served on its Board of Managers.
Founded in 1874, the Chicago Bar Association is one of the oldest and most active metropolitan bar associations in the United States, with more than 17,000 members.
