Scott Hansen, of counsel, was honored for 50 years of service in the legal profession and the State Bar of Wisconsin on May 13 at the Delafield Hotel in Delafield, Wis. The State Bar of Wisconsin, which hosted the reception, recognized Hansen's contributions to his legal practice and the state bar.
"It's nice to be recognized," Hansen said. "There's something about looking back on those 50 years and remembering all of the wonderful colleagues and clients I've been able to work with.."
Hansen is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin's Litigation and Business Law Sections and has received several distinctions over the course of his career. They include: the 2023 Judge Myron L. Gordon Lifetime Achievement Award; Super Lawyers: since inception (Wisconsin Top 50 2009-2015); Best Lawyers: Litigation - Antitrust Lawyer of the Year; Antitrust and Franchise Law Lawyer of the Year (on multiple occasions); and Benchmark Litigation (Wisconsin Litigation Star). Scott was also named 2018 Lawyer of the Year by the Milwaukee Bar Association.
Hansen is of counsel in Reinhart's Litigation Practice. His work primarily involves resolving complex disputes between businesses or between business and governments where a client's serious interests or ability to survive is at risk. Hansen was named a "Leader in the Law" for successfully litigating some of the most complex and high-stakes civil cases in Wis., and Chambers ranks him as a Tier One litigation attorney (2004-present).
