ISOLAS LLP hosted the GFSB Women in Enterprise event at our offices this week to mark International Women’s Day, bringing together individuals from across Gibraltar’s business and wider community sectors.
As a longstanding supporter of Women in Enterprise and the Gibraltar Federation of Small Businesses (GFSB), we were delighted to see this year’s event centred on the theme “Give to Gain.”
The evening was opened by Deputy Governor Marc Holland, who spoke about the importance of equality and the progress being made towards more balanced workplaces.
ISOLAS Partner Emma Azopardi Lejeune also addressed the audience, reflecting on the need to create spaces where honest conversations about leadership, growth and opportunity can take place, and the realities behind professional success, noting that growth is rarely linear and that resilience and persistence often remain unseen behind the polished narratives we see on social media.
Speakers Áine Panter, Paul Ford, Rebecca Figueras, CMgr, Marlene Dalli and Ron Wagemakers also shared valuable insights on leadership, mentorship and the importance of giving time and experience to support others.
Thank you to Women in Enterprise, the Gibraltar Federation of Small Businesses, and everyone who attended and contributed to such an engaging event.
