Moore & Van Allen (MVA) is pleased to support US Forged Rings, Inc. (USFR) in connection with the company's major manufacturing project in Hertford County, North Carolina.
Gov. Josh Stein announced today that USFR will establish a new production facility in the region, a three‑phase project representing $875 million in planned investment and expected to create 625 new full‑time jobs in its first two phases. USFR—part of the Sozzi family's global group of forging companies—produces specialty steel components used in power generation and industrial applications. The company will locate its new facility adjacent to Nucor Corporation's Hertford County steel mill, strengthening an existing strategic supply chain partnership.
MVA's Head of Tax and Co-head of Corporate Billy Moore, Head of Economic Development & Incentives Beth Buckner and Director of Public Affairs Beth Friedrich provided incentives and strategic guidance that helped advance this significant industrial investment in North Carolina.
