Moore & Van Allen White Collar, Regulatory Defense & Investigations Member Tanisha Palvia recently presented a Continuing Legal Education program for the North Carolina Bar Association titled "False Claims Act Enforcement: 2025 Review and 2026 Forecast." Delivered as part of the NCBA's March 2026 Lunchtime Webcast series, the program provided an in‑depth overview of recent False Claims Act (FCA) enforcement activity and emerging areas of focus for government regulators.
Tanisha's presentation examined notable settlements, decisions, and enforcement patterns from 2025 and the first quarter of 2026. She also discussed how the FCA continues to expand beyond its traditional health care and government contracting contexts to developing areas such as DEI‑related representations and customs and tariff compliance. She concluded the session with an assessment of trends expected to influence FCA enforcement throughout the remainder of 2026.
