The firm has been recognized in the following categories:
- Innovation in AI strategy: The firm's Innovation Committee, which works to find new ways to promote efficiency and superior client service, including implementing a firmwide AI strategy.
- Innovation in training and development: Foley Hoag's Patent Prosecution Practice Group launched the IP Allowance Academy, a foundational patent law training program.
- Innovative lawyers in disputes and litigation: The firm's international litigation team achieved a historic victory for Equatorial Guinea, successfully challenging the validity of a treaty invoked by Gabon and establishing Equatorial Guinea's sovereignty over disputed islands.
