Sheppard Mullin healthcare partner Carolyn Metnick was featured in Health Information: Making Every Patient’s Story Matter, a new digital series from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).
The digital series explores the legal challenges confronting health information and healthcare companies in the digital era, including risks associated with digitized patient information and digital health solutions.
“The healthcare industry is evolving rapidly with the advent of AI, and it is important to understand the risks and opportunities of digital solutions and data in patient care,” said Metnick, who leads Sheppard Mullin’s Healthy AI Initiative. She counsels healthcare clients on issues related to AI in healthcare, including governance, contractual matters and data-related risks.
