Real Estate Partners James Pugh and Timothy Reimers were selected as 2025 Commercial Real Estate Visionaries by the Los Angeles Times for its Commercial Real Estate Trends, Updates & Visionaries magazine.
Pugh was highlighted for guiding many of Southern California's highest-profile land use projects. Recently, he served as lead counsel for Brookfield's 34-story, 366-unit residential tower in downtown Los Angeles. He also served as lead land use counsel for the development of the award-winning MOXY & AC Hotel project, negotiating a lucrative hotel tax incentive agreement valued at approximately $70 million.
Reimers, leader of the firm's Healthcare Real Estate team, has closed hundreds of complex transactions for many of the largest health systems in the U.S. The LA Times noted his recent sale of Los Angeles Jewish Health's Gonda Westside facility for a deal valued at $81 million plus the assumption of $137.5 million in liabilities.
The fifth edition of this special publication spotlights professionals within the commercial real estate sector and features industry trends and updates. Those selected as 2025 visionaries were nominated by their colleagues and peers and selected by the L.A. Times B2B Publishing stakeholders for demonstrating leadership, an ability to impact change and overall success during the last 24 months.
