Sheppard Mullin advised Systems Planning & Analysis (SPA) in its acquisition of Group W, a premier data science and defense analytics company with a core focus on modeling and simulation and wargaming capabilities to the Department of Defense. SPA is a leading global provider of data-driven analytical insights supporting complex national security programs and defense priorities. SPA is a portfolio company of Arlington Capital Partners, a private investment firm specializing in government-regulated industries.
Sheppard Mullin advised SPA in six previous deals, including in its acquisitions of Intrepid, LLC; Australian-based Proximity Advisory Services Pty Ltd; PRKK, LLC; the technical advisory services program from ManTech; and the operations research and cyber analysis division of Metron.
