Taft attorney John Gordon was a panelist at the Indianapolis Bar Association's program titled "Practicing with Intelligence: AI, Ethics, and the Future of Law" on Oct. 14. The program served as an engaging CLE opportunity exploring the rapidly evolving intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and the legal profession. Some of the topics discussed include ethical implications of AI, practical strategies for integrating useful AI tools into daily legal practice, and what the future holds for lawyers in an AI-driven world.

Gordon focuses his practice on closing deals for venture capital funds and emerging technology companies with a focus on the Aerospace & Defense sector. John's experience includes closing hundreds of millions in fundraising rounds ranging from pre-seed debt investment to Series C rounds and beyond, drafting and negotiating millions in commercial contracts for clients ranging from single-founder startups to Fortune 50 companies, managing cap tables, and directly advising executives and boards of directors of emerging technology companies on various issues facing their businesses.
