The firm welcomes Matti Keskikyla as Managing Director in strategic expansion of operational due diligence and value creation offering within the region
Toronto – October 2, 2025 – Leading global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal's (A&M's) Global Transaction Advisory Group (Global TAG) continues to strategically expand and deepen its offering in Canada (TAG Canada) – welcoming Matti Keskikyla as a Managing Director in its Toronto office, whose deep performance improvement expertise will help drive pre and post-deal value creation for both private equity and corporate clients.
Mr. Keskikyla's appointment is part of a deliberate wave of senior talent joining TAG Canada, including recent hire Patrick Daoust, a 25-year consulting veteran whose local and cross-border experience working with private equity and corporate clients across the Canadian and U.S. markets complements Mr. Keskikyla's. Collectively, they serve clients from an integrated platform within TAG Canada and across A&M Canada, with a service offering suite that includes financial, commercial, IT and tax due diligence.
Mr. Keskikyla, a professional engineer and CFA charter holder, boasts over a decade of expertise in performance improvement for private equity clients across manufacturing, power generation and field services – with further specialization in nuclear energy, aerospace and defence. Most recently a Partner and Sector Head for Private Equity and Defence at Isaac Operations, Mr. Keskikyla helped scale the business from ten professionals to over 140 professionals as he led multi-year transformation programs that delivered significant EBITDA growth and enterprise value for private equity clients.
