WASHINGTON DC – Mayer Brown partner Nicole Saharsky has once again been named to Washingtonian's 2025 list of "Most Powerful Women" for the third year. The list highlights leaders in the DC area on both the local and national stage who are shaping various fields.
Nicole co-leads Mayer Brown's Supreme Court & Appellate practice, with clients consistently turning to her for her ability to brief and argue high-stakes appeals before the US Supreme Court, as well as in federal and state appellate courts across the country. She has argued 32 cases before the Court and authored briefs in hundreds more—experience that places her among the most accomplished appellate lawyers in the country. Most recently, she argued Cunningham v. Cornell University, a significant case concerning ERISA's prohibited-transaction provisions, and Medina v. Planned Parenthood South Atlantic, another high-profile matter before the Court.
