Lenczner Slaght is delighted to welcome Lauren Di Felice, Madison MacKinnon, Christina A. Papageorgakopoulos, Gregory Pike, Rachel Rowlands, Ayushi Thakur, and Natalie Workewych as its newest associates.

Lauren Di Felice completed her JD at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. As a law student, Lauren volunteered with the International Human Rights Project, the Law Union, and the Canadian Centre for Housing Rights. Her resolute advocacy was further demonstrated in her founding and co-leading of the David Asper Centre for Constitutional Rights’ Reproductive Rights working group. Lauren summered and articled at Lenczner Slaght, gaining experience in corporate litigation, professional negligence actions, construction law, and large-scale commercial arbitrations.
Madison MacKinnon completedher JD at Queen’s University Faculty of Law. During law school, Madison volunteered her time to Pro Bono Students Canada, the Queen’s Prison Law Clinic, and the Prison Law Clinic where she focused on complaints to the human rights tribunal and interventions at the Supreme Court of Canada. Madison summered and articled at Lenczner Slaght, working in a variety of practice areas, including commercial litigation, employment law, public law, class actions, and professional liability and regulation.
Christina A. Papageorgakopoulos received her JD at Queen’s University Faculty of Law. While in law school, she volunteered her time to Pro Bono Students Canada and served as a student caseworker at the Queen’s Prison Law Clinic, working with inmates in preparation for appearances in Disciplinary Court. Christina summered and articled at Lenczner Slaght, gaining experience in complex commercial disputes, professional liability and regulation, real estate, and employment law.
Gregory Pike completed his JD at Queen’s University Faculty of Law, where he served on the Queen’s Law Journal, worked as a student caseworker at Queen’s Legal Aid, and assisted professors as a research assistant. He summered at the Ministry of the Attorney General, Civil Law Division, and later articled as a judicial law clerk at the Divisional Court and Superior Court of Justice in Toronto. Gregory is developing a broad litigation practice in professional liability, public law, defamation, and appeals.
Rachel Rowlands completed her JD from Queen’s University Faculty of Law. While in law school, she volunteered her time with Pro Bono Students Canada, served as a peer tutor, and worked as a student caseworker for Queen’s Legal Aid. Rachel summered at Lenczner Slaght, gaining experience in commercial litigation, professional liability, and public law matters, and later completed her articles as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and Divisional Court.
Ayushi Thakur graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. While in law school, she competed in several moots and worked as a student caseworker at Downtown Legal Services, representing clients in matters involving employment law and academic appeals. Ayushisummered and articled at the firm, gaining experience in a wide range of practice areas, including commercial disputes, professional liability, and arbitrations. She also holds a Master of Science in Immunology from the University of Toronto.
Natalie Workewych received her JD at Western University with an Area of Concentration in Intellectual Property, Information and Technology. During law school, she served as a Clinic Fellow for the Western Intellectual Property & Innovation Clinic and as a legal intern for a biotechnology startup. Natalie summered and articled at Lenczner Slaght, gaining experience in intellectual property, public law, and professional liability. She also holds a PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Toronto.
