Jonathan Grode has worked continuously in the U.S. business immigration law field since 1999. He is experienced in securing nonimmigrant and immigrant visas for a diverse range of clients, including new company start-ups, professional workers at large corporations, artists, entertainers, athletes, physicians, and scientific researchers. Additionally, he has significant experience handling enforcement actions by the Department of Labor and the Department of Homeland Security. Mr. Grode has served as a panelist and moderator on immigration law topics for numerous organizations, including the American Bar Association, Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, French Chamber for Commerce and Industry (Paris, France), and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. He teaches at Temple University Beasley School of Law and is a frequent contributor to industry publications and academic journals, where he helps shape the broader conversation on immigration law and policy.
Making her debut on this year's list is Ksenia Maiorova, a Partner in Green and Spiegel's Orlando office. A nationally recognized authority in sports immigration law with over 15 years of legal experience, Maiorova has distinguished herself by advocating for athletes, coaches, and sports industry professionals seeking visas and permanent residency. Her work includes developing strategies for international student-athletes pursuing Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) opportunities while maintaining immigration compliance. Notably, her EB-1A victory for Olympic hammer thrower Camryn Rogers stands as the first NIL-related EB-1A green card secured for an NCAA athlete. Maiorova was named by On3as one of " 13 Figures to Watch in the NIL Landscape in 2023." Maiorova is also the founder of the Sports Immigration Lawyers Association and the annua lSports Immigration Law Conference. She is a frequent speaker at national legal events and her insights have been featured in ESPN, TIME Magazine, and The Wall Street Journal.
